    Expectations for Admissions campus visitors:
    • Registration: all prospective students and their guests must be registered in advance; no drop-in visitors or unregistered guests are permitted at this time
    • Duration: ~90 minutes: 30-minute seated information session followed by a 60-75-minute walking tour
    • Masks: Please note that masks are currently optional on the Carleton College campus. Learn more about campus expectations through our Covid-19 FAQs.
    • Vaccination: All campus visitors are expected to be fully vaccinated and boosted, if eligible.
      • If a visitor or their family member is feeling ill on the morning of their visit, they should not proceed with an in-person visit on that day. Please contact the Admissions Office (admissions@carleton.edu or 507-222-4190) and we will work with you to reschedule.
    Recommendations:
    • We'll cover some ground—wear comfy shoes!
    • Bring a refillable water bottle
    • Check the weather. Tours happen rain or shine (or sleet or snow), so bring appropriate weather gear. We'll also provide rain ponchos and umbrellas if needed.
Accessibility: Accessible parking, entrances, and restrooms will be available. All open buildings also offer places to sit.
