Virtually Visiting Carleton

    Hello there!

We are delighted that you're interested in learning more about Carleton!

On this page you can learn more about our virtual visit opportunities. If you're seeking to visit us in Northfield, please navigate to our in-person visit registration page.

Sign up for all of our virtual event offerings using the calendar at the bottom of this page.

~ Unless otherwise noted, our virtual events are live and take place via Zoom meetings, as opposed to webinars, meaning you can see other attendees and vice versa. We'll invite you to turn your camera on and you will have the opportunity to introduce yourself, but both are completely optional. ~

We recommend you start with a General Information Session and Q&A (1 hour) or a Diversity and Access Student Information Session (1 hour).

    • Tuesdays and Thursdays September 7 - November 19
    • Access sessions are the first Wednesday of October and November

After that you might want to engage more closely with current students by attending either (or both!) a Live Virtual Campus Tour or a themed Student Panel.

    • Live Virtual Campus Tours (1 hour)
      • Tuesdays, Thursdays, and every other Saturday September 7 - November 19
    • Student Panel: Why Carleton? (1 hour)
      • Last Thursday of the month September 7 - November 19
You are welcome to go on our self-guided virtual tour at any time. And, we welcome you to connect with some current students by requesting a virtual student host and reading through our student blogs, too.

    Six Colleges

Carleton, Amherst, Bowdoin, Pomona, Swarthmore, and Williams are collaborating to host a series of virtual events so that students, families, and counselors can get critical college search information in one place. Attendees have told us that it's both useful and efficient!

You can find recordings of previous sessions here. Upcoming events will be published shortly.

15 on the 15th: Liberal Arts Colleges Across the U.S.

Starting June 15 and continuing each month until December 15, fifteen liberal arts and sciences colleges from across the U.S. will come together with current students and alumni to offer you fifteen minutes of tips for your college application process followed by an hour-long virtual college fair.

Each session's theme is TBD (check back soon for an update!) but they will be intended for international students. Please register here
