Mailing Address*
You may have previously directed Carleton not to share your email address with broader public-facing directories which Carleton might create. We respect your decision, but want you to know it eliminates the AAR program's ability to communicate with you easily via email, a side effect you may not have intended. Please indicate below your level of permission for email contact:
Can we use this email address to contact you with AAR-related information and opportunities ONLY?
Commitment: Addendum
In the interest of fairly and transparently working with prospective students, the AAR board is moving to eliminate any potential conflicts of interest. Do you have a child intending to enroll in a four-year undergraduate institution at some point during the 2022-2023 school year?
Gatherings and events (e.g. community events, summer send-offs, and gatherings at local venues like coffee shops) are held in many areas throughout the year. Visiting with alumni, parents, and current students (when possible) can help prospective students get a sense of the Carleton community. The warmth and camaraderie of those events can enhance the recruitment and enrollment of each freshman class.
College fairs are a fun way to meet several students in a concentrated period. When representing Carleton at a fair, your role is to share your enthusiasm for the College and the reasons you appreciated your time there.
Although interviews are not required, they are highly recommended. Because of the greater number of applications the College has received in recent years, admissions decisions have become increasingly more competitive. The interview report offers valuable, in-depth information about a prospective student that can enhance his or her application and can help the Admissions Committee reach a more informed decision. Interviews can be held in person or remotely (via Skype, Google Hangout, phone, etc.).
And, I can... (optional, check all that apply)
