Travel Subsidy Request 2019-2020

The Carleton College Admissions Office offers financial assistance to qualified prospective students who are unable to afford a visit to campus on their own. If you qualify for our travel subsidy program, we will reimburse you for up to $250 of your flight expenses (or $175 of your gas expenses if you opt to drive). In order to apply for the program, please fill out the application below--note that you will need to submit the following documents in order to complete your application: high school transcript, senior schedule, and an unofficial copy of your standardized test scores (ACT or SAT). Funding is only available for senior students who have never been to campus before. Additionally, you  must be either a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have DACA status in order to be eligible for funding.

Please note that a completed flight subsidy application will be accepted in lieu of Part I of Carleton's application for admission. For more information on filling out the rest of your Carleton application, please look here
