Group Visits

    We are happy to welcome your group of high school students to visit campus.  To best accommodate all of our visitors, we have established the following guidelines for group visits: 
    • the visit lasts about two hours: an information session with an admissions officer and a walking campus tour led by a Carleton student
    • groups should be no larger than 45 students
    • students should be in high school, preferably at least 10th grade
    • each group should have at least one adult chaperone for every 10 students
    • most group visits will take place from May through early December, though exceptions may be granted at other times of the year
    • group visits are limited to business hours, Tuesday-Thursday
    • groups should provide at least two weeks' notice for arranging their plans

    Your visit is not scheduled until you receive a confirmation email from our office. Visits are subject to the academic calendar and the availability of admissions staff and student tour guides.
